PCB announces 'free entry' during second Pak VS NZ test

KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced free entry for the spectators in the National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi during the second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

The PCB told the media that there would be free entry for the locals during the second Test match starting on Jan 2. The officials announced, “Free entry for Karachiites in all stands during the second Test, except two VIP ticketed stands. Entry will be on a first come first served basis.”

The VIP enclosures - Javed Miandad and Hanif Mohammad - ticket in the national stadium cricket arena cost Rs500 per day. The officials took this decision on the basis of the ongoing match between Pakistan and NZ, which has a limited number of audience.

Another reason for this is that all these matches have been scheduled on working days. Besides, Pakistan s performance lessens the spectators’ interest in the matches.
